Trayectoria profesional
Clara Redondo Gómez is a Partner and Legal Director at Zabalgo Family Lawyers. She specialises in Family Law, International Family Law and succession matters, advising individuals and families in cases that require precise legal strategy, practical judgment and a close professional approach.
Professional practice and legal direction
At Zabalgo Family Lawyers, Clara handles and directs complex family matters in both court and out-of-court settings, including cases with an international dimension. Alongside responsibility for her own matters, she contributes to the firm’s legal coordination, procedural strategy and technical supervision of ongoing cases.
Before joining the firm, she gained experience in practices focused on civil, employment and family law. This professional path gave her a broad legal foundation and consolidated her dedication to Family Law and the resolution of family and financial disputes.
Specialist education
Clara holds degrees in Law and Political Science and Public Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where she also completed the Master’s programme for access to legal practice. She subsequently completed specialist studies in International Family and Succession Law at Carlos III University of Madrid and has expanded her knowledge in compliance and Private International Law.
Family, succession and international matters
Her practice combines a detailed understanding of family proceedings with attention to the succession and wealth-planning issues that often accompany a separation or the planning of an inheritance. In matters with an international connection, she assesses jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition of foreign decisions and measures affecting children or family assets as distinct legal questions.
Teaching and legal commentary
Clara has participated as a speaker in ICAM training activities, including a session on practical aspects of the liquidation of the matrimonial property regime. She maintains an active role in legal commentary through articles and contributions to specialist media.
Her publications examine International Family Law, succession, child arrangements and the family home. They have appeared in outlets including Law&Trends and Lawyerpress, and she has also contributed to legal commentary in El Economista.
Her work is guided by a simple principle: every family conflict requires legal rigour, active listening and a strategy that the person making important decisions can understand.
